My wife and I have been thinking about where we are going to settle down and we have a lot of ideas but no concrete plans yet. So far things have been good where we’re at. We have some family living in Richland, WA and so we spent some time researching the area. You know the standard drill like looking at jobs, house prices, schools, and um.. nuclear waste dumps?!. Yeah pretty much the biggest nuclear waste dump in the western hemisphere. Maybe we’re just paranoid but it just doesn’t seem like the kind of risk you want to take when you’re trying to spread some roots. Especially when the ground water around the hanford site has been soaked with 1.7 trillion liters of waste.
